“I Pagliacci” y “Suor Angelica” suben a escena el domingo, a las 19, en el teatro El Círculo, con la dirección musical de Carlos Vieu y la dirección escénica de Rubén Martínez.
Los dos títulos escogidos, para abrir la temporada, cuya función inaugural para el Abono 2017 será el martes a las 20.30, tienen como punto central la discriminación de género y la violencia inherente a dicha acción, enuna contribución desde el arte operístico para tomar conciencia de este flagelo.
“Suor Angélica” tiene música de Giácomo Puccini y esta será la primera audición para Rosario en versión completa, mientras que “I Pagliacci” es libreto y música de Ruggero Leoncavallo.
El elenco está integrado por primeras figuras de la lírica: el tenor Enrique Folger, la soprano Paula Almerares y el barítono Leonardo Lopez Linares, en los roles protagónicos; junto a las mezzosopranos Anabella Carnevali y Graciela Mozzoni, los tenores Andrés Novero y Daniel Gómez López, y el barítono Ismael Barrile más el Coro de la Opera de Rosario y el Coro de Niños.
